Applications to computer vision using spectral theory

My research focuses on a fundamental development of the high-accuracy image registration technique (pattern matching) using image processing. As practical example, there are the image recognition system for robot vision and the augmented reality system (AR) which superimposes a computer graphics into a real image captured with camera. Thanks to the tenure-track system, I am able to do what I would like to better in my research since I now can use a new laboratory and equipment. I wish to make progress in my research and achieve a useful result for society from now on.
